Founded in 2007, Blog Action Day brings together bloggers from different countries, interests and languages to blog about one important global topic on the same day. Past topics have included Water, Climate Change, Poverty, Food, Power of We and Human Rights, with over 25,000 blogs taking part since 2007.
Join us on October 16 and write a blog post about inequality. I will be writing about inequality and mental health. Add your voice to the conversation.
When I took a look at participants, it actually seemed that many of the blogs were not primarily social change blogs. Perhaps the initial purpose has been piggybacked by some commercial interests. You address inequality and social justice issues regularly in your writing by addressing mental health issues. Mental health stigma is discrimination. Access to humane and effective mental health care is a human right.
Yes and thank you, Mihrank!

I wish I knew this was coming up. I would have participated. I guess I’ll participate by reading as many as I can.
