Treatment Choices: Options for Depression

Too often, individuals living with a mood disorder can feel like their fate and quality of life is in the hands of others—that they have no real choice in finding the best path for treatment, and ultimately, their future. This can be disempowering and frustrating prospect that limits individuals’ ability to achieve wellness goals that are most important to them. The DBSA Treatment Choices 4-part webinar series explores how individuals can get back in the driver’s seat on their road to wellness.

In Treatment Choices: Options for Depression, we will address key areas of choice for adults living with depression and offer suggestions for working with your clinical team to align your treatment with your wellness goals.

Presenters: Andrew Nierenberg, MD and Evette J. Ludman, PhD

  1. You could do crowd funding.

  2. Great information! You know how much I admire DBSA – I’m in talks with their chapter coordinator right now about possibly renewing our DBSA chapter. I told her I’d need assistance to pay for the required annual dues this time around & she said she’d make some inquiries on my behalf, which I really appreciated.

I can’t deal with the stress of getting dues money. When I created the DBSA chapter, I think it was $125/year and it might be more now. Maybe the fact that I was also a Life Unlimited profile might work in my favor – in any case it was worth asking.

  3. Hi, Hufsa! I will head on over as I eat See’s chocolates my husband gave me for Valentine’s Day. Yum.

  4. That’s great! (It’s me, Hufsa, from your NAMI class.) I like your blog! Please check out mine. Let’s keep in touch 🙂
