Today I volunteered for NAMI Orange County at Our Lady Queen of Angels in Newport Beach. NAMI made presentations to the congregation. The church will be hosting a NAMI Family-to-Family class. We stood outside in unbelievably strong and gusty Santa Ana winds, chasing pamphlets. I had the pleasure of getting to know other NAMI staff and volunteers while informing interested parishioners about NAMI’s programs.
Volunteered for NAMI-OC Today

Thank you, Dani.
Way to pay it forward, Kitt.
I know, but my son was getting on my case for always being on the computer (and not giving him my undivided attention). He’s 14 now. C’mon, dude.
Awww sorry, I definitely meant it as a compliment.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks.
Yikes. More a wake-up call than a compliment, I’m afraid.
Well done Kitt!
I am beyond proud of you for giving of your time to this – especially during the hectic holidays! NAMI-OC is incredibly fortunate to have you as a volunteer.
I’m happy for you that you have the volunteer work. I know you had concerns whether you’d get it or not. Thank you for being there and helping many of our brothers and sisters.
I think you’re the busiest bipolar in the blogosphere 😉
Apparently.
Thanks, Indah! You, too.
so, you are a NAMI Mammy…
Bravo! My best wishes for your volunteer work 🙂 Have a great week ahead Kitt!
