Healthline launched a video campaign called “You’ve Got This” where we who live with bipolar disorder can make a short video offering hope and inspiration to those recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Check out videos from the campaign: http://www.healthline.com/health/bipolar-disorder/youve-got-this

Healthline donates $10 for every submitted video to To Write Love On Her Arms. The more exposure the campaign gets, the more videos they’ll receive, and the more money Healthline donates to research, support, and treatment programs for mental health disorders.

Help spread the word about You’ve Got This. If you or anyone you know would like to post a video, please do.

  1. Thank you so much, Rondita!

  2. You’re so brave and inspirational! 🙂 I think your blog encourages and gives hope to many many people!

  3. Thank you SO much for your (fawning) support. I greatly appreciate it. I can’t even imagine trying to read all the blog posts you’ve missed in one week! There are so many great bloggers out there. Yes, my dogs are bad boys.

  4. What a treat to see and hear my wonderful friend not once, but three times in a week! (via this “You’ve Got This” video and during our brief birthday chats!)

I LOVE this clip, Kitt! Your sincerity, your optimism, and your strength shine through. I appreciate the way in which you optimistically and authentically tell us that we’ve “got this” a little bit after you begin and then at the closing of your talk.

Everything you say is helpful & personable & clear. When you give us concrete examples of what will help the newly diagnosed (medication & psychotherapy) you make it easy for newcomers to focus upon these life-saving modalities. I agree with you wholeheartedly they are the two biggie linchpins in our arsenal.

I am proud of you for taking time to do this and I’m proud that you’re sharing your journey with the world. You will help others, of that I’m sure. You continue to amaze and inspire me and I’m thrilled to call you my friend!

I’m looking forward to catching up on your other blog posts this weekend – while scrolling through the hundred or so posts I missed over the past ten days, I spotted one of yours involving chocolate, your bday, and a certain mischievous hound you happen to know quite well – can’t wait to read that one! 😉

  5. Thank you! You can submit a video, too, if you’d like.

  9. Great work, Kitt! Very encouraging!

  10. So inspiring. Thanks for stepping up and delivering an inspirational message!

  11. Thank you so much!

  12. Did you post it to YouTube and to your blog? I would love to see it.

  13. Please do. Thank you.

  14. Kitt! You did magnificently. Wow, you are so brave 🙂 Your video clip is reassuring and grounded. You’re speaking “english” ie. not too much medical terminology, which is wonderful for someone newly diagnosed. A gentle, positive vibe. I admire what you have accomplished from your journey with NAMI and that you’re giving back.

  15. Just made a video slide show and submitted it. I couldn’t get the voice over but put a comment. We’ll see if they accept it. I said it was Bipolar art. Of course, I should be in bed sleeping but this is such a good cause with the donation and encouraging newly diagnosed people! Thanks for spreading the word.

  16. Is it okay if I reblog this? This is an awesome campaign, and you did an excellent job with your contribution!

  17. Looking forward to it!

  18. Yours was so good!! But you have a good idea there! I could make a slide show of Bipolar paintings and maybe even stick in my voice. Not too up on how to do all this stuff. Maybe will try tomorrow. Kitt, your blog is so inspiring to me. I am posting something tomorrow that comes because I was inspired by your posts. Hope you are feeling better. Best, Ellen

  19. Please do it! How about a visual collage? I know that isn’t what they are looking for, but I love your artwork, so I’m just being selfish here.

  20. I agree with mihrank totally. You were great in the video and it was great you posted this. I am considering doing it though not a good talker.

  21. humbled and beautiful – I enjoyed the cause of this blog!
